Christmas and magic come together at the Monastery of Uclés, a project that surpasses itself, year after year.
This Christmas embraces technology and offers a spectacular immersive experience that combines virtual reality with the help of a live magician host, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the story. In the interior courtyard of the Monastery, the baroque theatrical tradition is fused with a contemporary vision of the Nativity scene.

For this project we have developed several AR/VR audiovisual and interactive pieces.
The installation consists of 36 synchronized Meta Quest 3 VR headsets, arranged around the central patio of the monastery, offering a virtual journey through the history of the monastery.
Other installations (AR game on tablets, various audiovisual productions) throughout the monastery compliment the visit.
We have also produced a promotional video of this event, for promotional purposes on broadcast media and social networks.

In the context of Riyadh growing in size to become a much larger metropolis in the mid-term, the presence of a close environmental reserve becomes of paramount importance as a place where visitors can enjoy open spaces and nature on a day trip or a weekend.
The concept proposes the creation of an “access gate” in the southernmost point of the Reserve, the closer one to the metropolis. This access area would include a Visitor Center, an Environmental Research Center that would become an international reference in desert-related studies, a Plant Nursery to nourish the Reserve, a mixed Residence for visitors and scientists, and all the necessary complementary services.

In 1904, D. Josep Batlló commissioned Antoni Gaudí, the greatest representative of Catalan modernism, to completely renovate the building. It was the Batlló family home until the1950s.
Since the 1990s the building has been in the hands of the current owners, the Bernat family. It was fully restored under their custody; subsequently, opening up to the public and making the space available for cultural visits and events.

Abdullah Palace

Abdulah Palace audiovisual demonstrates the genesis of the decorative and architectural patterns of the Najd style, commencing the basic forms: points, lines or triangles until the final set. This visual structure grows gradually, from the basics to the complex: linear drawings of simple elements, visual mathematics exquisitely traced on the facade intertwine to compose more complex patterns. Visitors are guided gradually into a 3D space - an illusion of video mapping: forests of columns, long corridors and doors, daily activities of the inhabitants of the palace. Elegance rules as visitors appreciate the splendor of the palace.

Guest Palace

The Guest House installation relies on elaborate visual technique to convey warmth, well-being and relaxation of the royal residence: smoke of the candlelight, the steam from the warm water in the bath, the scented effluvium from the coffee offered by the host. The gentle smoke leads the gaze from one scene to another, accompanied by a soundtrack of warm whisper.

At-Turaif, once a thriving 18th century ruling city of towering mud brick palaces, mosques, and defensive walls, lay in ruins until 2010. Within the site, a visitor center, farm, shaded walkways, exhibition galleries, signage, and multimedia have been carefully designed to fit within the existing ruins to welcome and educate the public.

Salwa Palace is the physical representation of the First Saudi State, at its peak. Visiting the high walls, tall towers and intricate pathways of At-Turaif, visitors can appreciate that Salwa Palace is the largest of its kind in the entire Arabian Peninsula.
Projections are an intricate part of the visitor experience, focusing attention on the multi-layered architectural organization, passages, bridges and precincts (public, residential, administrative, etc.)

Cultural Magazine “La Muy” are old acquaintances of the house – culty and with deep Sevillian roots, excellent design and top-notch content for “people without labels”, as they like to define themselves. We had the pleasure of being profiled in issue #6, and we subsequently proposed to include augmented reality as an integral part of their content. They did not hesitate for a moment. And so, a new adventure was launched.

For an article on emergent augmented reality we built two examples: the Bull of Íbero Museum, in Monforte del Cid, and Belmonte Castle. As folowup, we did a spectacular cover of Paco Leon as an interactive pinup, and monetized an EMASESA advertisement.

Developed by our VR department, this experience was designed for a variety of devices (HTC Vive, Oculus, Cardboard). The users can see, hear and feel the sensation of being in the pristine countryside, and can walk around using the platform-specific controllers.
We were aiming for a familiar, cinematic experience and made extensive use of a voice-over that accompanies the user at all times, in both Spanish and English.

Equatorial Guinea is an exotic and unknown country to Spanish population, although it was a Spanish colony until relatively recent independence, in 1968. Except for those involved in its settlement, the rest of Spain hardly knew anything about it. Many did not even suspect that the famous song of Cola Cao had something to do with this remote African paradise.
We are, only now, discovering Equatorial Guinea through its literature and cinema.

Bata, the second largest city of Guinea, is initiating an urban transformation that may make it one of the continent’s most modern cities. CYAN was commissioned to tell the story of this huge project, in under fifteen minutes. Aware that dense specifics of engineering and planning are of interest mostly to specialists, we decided the story should be more than dry numbers and statistics. We humanized the message.
